HR Partner at Piteå Municipality

Do you want to help develop Piteå Municipality's employer policy while contributing to community benefit? We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated HR Partner for the HR department.

The HR department is responsible for support and governance within the broad employer policy area, such as labor law, wage formation and conditions, work environment, as well as leadership and employee relations. We work to ensure that the municipality is an attractive workplace with a strong employer brand and well-functioning operations. The department is part of the municipal management administration, consisting of 16 individuals with various competencies who together provide coordinated and professional support to managers and leadership throughout the organization.

Job Responsibilities

As an HR Partner, you will work both strategically and operationally within the HR area. You will provide daily support to managers on issues related to workforce planning, recruitment, work environment, rehabilitation, wage formation, and labor law. With your expertise and consultative approach, you will contribute to developing the organization and creating the best conditions for managers. In addition to your daily support to managers, you will also participate in the development of various HR processes, implementing and following up on the municipality's HR strategies and policies. You are an important link between managers and trade unions to ensure good collaboration.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in HR, or equivalent education combined with experience we consider comparable. You have experience in qualified and independent HR work in a broad HR role. Experience working in a larger organization is an advantage, as is experience in public sector work.

To succeed in this role, you need to have good communication skills, be relationship-building, independent, and open to change. You have experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and the ability to handle complex issues. Your structured and meticulous approach helps you manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing the overall perspective. With your flexibility and drive, you contribute to an engaged and development-oriented HR department.
